City Stickers, Parking & Tickets
Residential Parking Permits, Zone Parking & Guest Passes
Some streets in the 26th Ward are zoned for residential parking permits (RPP). Vehicles parked in an RPP zone must display an RPP annual permit or daily pass on their windshield or they may be ticketed. If you purchase a yearly residential parking permit, your city sticker and parking permit are combined into one sticker. |
 |
Residential Pickup, Truck or Van Parking Permit
In order to park a pickup, truck or van weighing under 4,500 pounds on a residential side street a special truck parking permit must be displayed. |

City Stickers

If you live in the City of Chicago for more than 30 days, you are required to display a Chicago City Sticker. The current city sticker expires on June 30, 2010. Enforcement begins on July 15, 2010.
You can purchase city stickers through our office on one day only, Friday, June 4th between 10am and 6pm. You must provide the vehicle make, model and your license plate number.
We do not sell city stickers in our office throughout the year, but you can purchase them on line or at multiple locations throughout the city. |

Parking Tickets
The City offers payment plans to motorists with parking and red-light ticket debt. Entering into a payment plan will prevent your vehicle from being booted and allows you to make payments over a longer period of time. Entering a plan will also prevent the suspension of your driver's license due to unpaid tickets if your license has not already been suspended. |
