You can file a complaint or report a problem from your computer. The department will receive all complaints the next day. So if you file a complaint at 11:00 at night, the department will be notified by 8:00 the next morning.
The online system prompts you for the address of where the problem exists first. Be as specifc as possible. After you enter the problem, you will be prompted to enter your contact information.
If you prefer to remain completely anonymous, you will not be able to track the resolution. If you provide at least your email address, you will be given a confirmation number that you can use to find out if the problem has been solved.
Please write down the confirmation number you'll receive. If you haven't seen a resolution in 7 days, call our office at 773-395-0143. Then give us the confirmation number so we can follow up or correct the problem.
