In the many hours I have spent with senior citizens, I have learned much about their tremendous contributions—and their critical needs. Despite the government programs created to serve them, many senior citizens still face poverty and isolation. Even today, many lack the resources to live in health and dignity.
The Save Our Seniors Foundation (SOS) offers seniors both. For the past decade, we have provided senior citizens in the Chicago area with money to purchase prescription drugs and with social events like the Senior Christmas Party and the Senior Boot Drive to improve their quality of life.
